We will gladly accommodate special requests for before and after hours. We will gladly accommodate your group for a private party in the spa. Please call for reservations.*
~ Spa Guidelines ~
We encourage you to arrive 30 minutes before our treatment time to relax and enjoy our steam and sauna. For your comfort, we suggest you shower before all massages. Arriving late will limit the time for our treatment, thus lessening its effectiveness and your pleasure.
Your treatment will end on time so the next guest is not delayed. The full value of your treatment will be charged. As a courtesy to other guests and our therapists, please inform us (please refer to cancellation policy) if you must cancel or reschedule.
Lockers, robes and slippers are provided.
~ Cancellations ~
All services are reserved especially for you. To avoid a full fee charge, we require 24 hours advance notice. A valid credit card is required to hold your reservation.
~ Complimentary Consultations ~
We offer consultations for our products and services by phone or in the spa.
~ Gratuities ~
If you are pleased with the services, it is customary to give 18-22% to each spa specialist. Gratuities are not included in our prices.
~ Gift Certificates ~
Gift Certificates are available at the spa desk or by phone. They make the perfect year-round gift for someone special. Certificates are purchased as a dollar amount to be used towards services or products. They are valid for one year from date of purchase.

About Richel D'Ambra

The driving force behind the success of the Richel D’Ambra Spa & Salon is great dedication and superb customer service. Strongly influenced by her family values and Italian heritage Richel has focused her career on quality of treatment with respect to the body.
Today Richel is widely recognized in the spa community and continues to be highly sought after for seminars, training sessions and consultations.
A pioneer in her field, Richel D’Ambra opened one of the first North American Day Spas in the 1980s. She was the first day spa owner to hold an executive seat on the board of directors was honored by the International Spa Association in 1999, was instrumental for bringing day spas into the organization. Richel was also responsible for “Hands of Hope” after 9-11 and the annual ISPA award being named in Alex Szekely honor. Richel is dedicated to having consumers become more aware of the early signs of melanoma.
Richel recognizes the importance of on-going education. She continues to study and lecture in the U.S., Italy, France, England, Germany, Turkey, Russia and the Far East finding newly developed techniques, treatments and products and bringing them to her clients. Richel has also participated in creating educational programs for students and trainers in over fifty schools throughout the United States.
Acclaimed for her superb quality of service and professionalism, as well as her nurturing personality, Richel has been noted in various leading publications, such as American Spa, American Salon, Allure, Elle, Mademoiselle, Good Housekeeping, Philadelphia Magazine, Philadelphia Style, Self, Town & Country, and Vogue.
She organizes fund raisers for people living with Juvenile Diabetes and Leukemia while also acting on the executive committee for Philadelphia’s premier fashion and beauty event, Phashion Phest.
